Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. She was raised listening to classic, old boleros as well as traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, however she started more intense vocal training with Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her love and passion for music. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, by sharing her knowledge her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will bring about a desire, specifically for the young generation in keeping the music vibrant.
